Fans of the Disney Channel's top rated series Lizzie McGuire will be spellbound by Hilary Duff as the good witch Wendy, who conjures up a supernatural friendship with Casper the Ghost. Their bickering families will have to stop with the wisecracks and put aside their differences to save Wendy from warlock Desmond Spellman George Hamilton at his hammy, scene stealing best. Teri Garr, Cathy Moriarty, and Shelley Duvall add to the fun as Wendy's aunts, who disapprove of her goody goody ways. The Ghostly Trio, as always, provides the rude humor and poltergeist pandemonium. Adults may consider this direct to video feature a curse, but preteens and younger viewers will find it a real scream.
