This PBS program features the inimitable Julia Child, America's favorite French chef, in a retrospective of television clips and recipes. Child hosts the show, which features highlights of her television career teaching the art of cooking to Americans. The first episode of The French Chef, in 1963, is aired, followed by clips of Child's appearances over the decades.
